Archaeologists and students from the University of Cambridge recently discovered a 9th-century burial pit during a training excavation. The significant find was located within Wandlebury Country Park, situated just outside the city of Cambridge. This archaeological effort was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Oscar Aldred from the Cambridge Archaeological Unit.
